This will be my basecamp for the Cors Dyfi Osprey Project this year. Also hoping to see Cuckoos on the Afon Leri reserve and Harriers above Cors Fochno reserve. Ynyslas National Nature Reserve will get at least one visit during my eight-day stay. Another daytrip will be to Machynlleth to see if I can spot the Beavers in the River Dovey. Tide Times for the Dovey Estuary and Borth Beach.

14/02/2026. The month so far. Set to be the wettest February since the great flood. Today is the first day this month with clear, blue sky, with rain or sleet expected before bed time. The next dry day is Tuesday 17^th with rain and sleet expected after dark. A mix of rain and sleet will continue until the end of the month with average temperatures not even breaking into double figures.
